Wool Felted Bag Workshop

Using beautiful Merino and Corridale wool fibres, Julija will guide you through the process of making a seamless bag using the resist method of felt making at the beautiful Purple Pear Farm. During the workshop will be able to choose your colours and designs along with the potential of adding fabrics, features and other fibres for some interesting finishing touches. Every bag will also come with an attached strap. Felt-making is an ancient craft with many modern-day applications. It is incredibly forgiving and quite surprisingly versatile in what you can do with basic techniques and minimal materials. Some prior experience in felt making would be useful in this workshop as it is a more advanced technique, however, if you are super keen and happy to jump right in, the projects can be modified for different skill and mobility levels. After the workshop, you will be confident to felt at home. All materials and morning tea will be provided.
