Planes, Trains and Automobiles - and everything else too

The Events10 destinations have some of the most well-connected transport options in NSW for getting event attendees across our 10 destinations. Here’s why.

Travel by
air

Our central air hub is Newcastle Airport. It provides high frequency Australian direct flights from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra, Gold Coast, Ballina/Byron Bay, Cobar, Sunshine Coast, Whitsunday Coast and Cairns.

International direct flights connect from Auckland with further international routes coming online with an upgrade to the Newcastle Airport scheduled to be completed in 2024. Additional international flights connect with Newcastle Airport via the major Australian air gateways mentioned before using onward connecting flights.

You can also charter flights from wherever you want. We have local helicopters too which can literally drop VIPs right into your event location.

YOU CAN FLY DIRECT TO NEWCASTLE AIRPORT FROM THE NATION’S LEADING CITIES, REGIONS AND AUCKLAND IN NEW ZEALAND. ATTENDEES CAN ALSO CONNECT TO NEWCASTLE AIRPORT VIA A WHOLE COLLECTION OF AUSTRALIAN AND INTERNATIONAL AIRPORTS.

Travel by
car

Super-fast, super convenient and super easy. Driving to any Events10 destination is simple.

Coming from the south, we’re right up the freeway from Sydney on the M1 which is between one hour to our southernmost  destination of Lake Macquarie up to 3.5 hours to the Upper Hunter and MidCoast destinations.

The Hunter Expressway makes it a fast and easy way to connect with many event locations in the Hunter Valley and up into the Upper Hunter.

Driving from Brisbane, our destinations are between 6 and 7.5 hours away coming south, down the Pacific Motorway.

Your event attendees can drive their own car or we have plenty of hire car pick-up points such as Newcastle Airport. We also have luxury limousine services, taxis and Uber services.

Travel by
rail

The Events10 destinations have over 40 rail stations which are served by daily suburban, intra-state and inter-state trains – from north/south and east/west starting points.

We’re at the cross-rails of the main Sydney to Brisbane North Coast rail line as well as the Sydney to North West rail line which both have daily express services.

Multiple daily commuter trains link the Upper Hunter at Scone to town centres right along the Hunter Valley to Newcastle.

Whilst in Newcastle city, its new light rail trams scoot from the Newcastle Rail Interchange through its CBD to the beach.

Travel by
bus

With both daily scheduled and charter bus services, you can criss-cross your event attendees all over our amazing Events10 destinations.

We’ve got bus charter companies with everything from large deluxe coaches to mini-buses to super-comfy luxury vans for the celebrity seekers.

Travel by
boat

Here’s a uniquely nautical way to get your event attendees here. Our Events10 destinations coastline has a selection of harbours and ports to drop anchor to drop-off and pick-up your event attendees.

Newcastle Port is a deep-water port capable of handling any sized vessel from large cruise ships to smaller charter boats.
