Leconfield House was built in 1872 by Reginald Wyndham, son of the founder of the Wyndham Estate Winery, George Wyndham. The house has recently been renovated to it's 1872 glory and also provides the luxuries expected of a 21st century five star hotel. It is located in a rural setting on 13 acres, high on a ridge providing spectacular views of the Hunter Valley and Hunter River. There are four large suites, all with en suites and additional luxuries such as locally made toiletries, bath robes and slippers, and complementary bottled water, drinks on arrival, free Wifi and an evening turndown service including port and chocolates.
