Established in the 1820s with the aid of convict servants, "Lochinvar" was one of the earliest land grants in the Hunter Valley. It became one of the first commercial vineyards. The first owner was a well-connected young Scotsman, an entrepreneur who established a new bank in Sydney Town.
There are six bedrooms, sleeping 14, and a hot breakfast is served.
