Event Details

Renae Saxby is a documentary and music photographer based on Wonnarua Country. Her work delves into the human experience, spanning intimate portraiture, live performance, and remote landscapes with a strong emphasis on cultural and environmental preservation. In this exhibition, Saxby examines fire as both a destructive and regenerative force. Created during a period of personal upheaval, this work merges intimate narrative with landscape. Through immersive photography and sound, the exhibition reflects on grief, resilience, and the potential for healing held within fire's transformative presence.
