NEXT Studio is a free three-day intensive creative industries workshop teaching high school-aged students about digital art, animation and music.
The workshop will be held in Singleton Arts + Cultural Centre's digital studio, making use of the new tech available there. Students will experiment with Virtual Reality, augmented reality, digital drawing, animation, sound recording, and beat-making equipment and software.
This exciting opportunity combines hands-on learning with professional industry skills, empowering the next generation of digital artists and musicians while fostering creative collaboration and artistic expression in the Upper Hunter region. Along the way, the participants will get to think about their artist statement, future creative opportunities and performance or exhibition.
This workshop is for everyone, regardless of skill level. Those who love to make music or art will get something out of it.
