Sound Bath and Meditation by the Banyan Tree

Join a special gathering by the sacred 200-year-old Banyan tree at the historical Tocal Homestead. In many cultures, the Banyan tree is considered sacred, and some consider it the tree of eternal life that embodies the physical and spiritual connection. As a symbol of growth, strength, and self-awareness, it enables one to reflect and quieten one’s mind. Let sound and spirit guide you through the experience with gentle breathing and vocal techniques, bringing you into the present moment and allowing you to immerse yourself in it. Take the journey through meditation with Shruti Box, crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, gong, chimes, flute, voice and other therapeutic instruments. Sound and spirit offer a gentle introduction to Sound Meditation, and events are accessible to anyone at any level of meditation experience for those aged 12 years or older.
