Located on the opposite side of the Hunter River to Central Maitland, the Lorn Riverbank is a great place to unwind. With vehicle access available, this large open space is a great spot to start your kayak or stand-up paddleboard journey down the river to Morpeth. As a designated off-leash area, it is also a popular destination for pet owners. The Lorn Riverbank also provides the perfect vantage point for flagship events such as Riverlights and New Year's Eve.
